David and Shelly Goodson are the owners of Earth Remedies of Florida. More than just another luxury MedSpa, Earth Remedies is a wellness retreat that focuses on self-care and overall well-being.
David has always been passionate about healthcare and wellness. He graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Exercise Science focusing on Kinesiology and Ergonomics. He has owned Whitewater Valley Rehabilitation for over 25 years. Shelly graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in accounting. She co-owns Fayette Tool and Engineering, which was founded in 1970 by her father. Together they own several successful businesses.
Plagued with chronic back pain for years, David became interested in seeking alternative ways to find relief. That led to the discovery of the benefits of CBD. Through the research process, the concept of incorporating CBD with spa services like massage was born. The mission further evolved into “look good, feel good” by utilizing modern technologies accompanied by natural remedies.
David and Shelly are excited to offer something special to the community and share their passion and knowledge to help create a one-of-a-kind experience that encompasses relaxation, rejuvenation and healing.

Denise has been in the HR and Administration field since the 1980’s and enjoys working with people from all walks of life. While Denise loves interacting with clients and staff, keeping things running behind the scenes is where Denise prefers to be, making sure that everything runs smoothly so that everyone has a great experience and can’t wait to return. She has an open-door policy, so please feel free to stop by even if it’s just to say hello!

Healing people, beauty, and skincare have always been Emily’s passions. After graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Psychology, she decided to begin a professional career as a beauty and skin care consultant for Estée Lauder and Clarins. Later, this led her to enroll at the Aveda Institute where she received her training as an esthetician and massage therapist. Emily has been a dual licensed esthetician and massage therapist for ten years and has kept current with the latest trends and treatments in skincare and massage. Combining a background in psychology with esthetic and massage skills has allowed her to combine the best of both worlds when focusing on the treatment of clients. It is Emily’s ultimate goal to provide relaxing treatments to all of her clients, and to help them look and feel their best!
Jessica is a compassionate registered nurse with a relentless eye for detail. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University and is currently working on her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Texas Women’s University. She has had a thriving career in nursing for over 10 years. Jessica spent the first 7 years specializing in pediatrics until finding her true passion in aesthetic medicine. Jessica’s pediatric background has taught her to bring a gentle touch, compassion, and care to each patient experience in her aesthetic practice. She loves being an aesthetic practitioner because it allows her to combine her love for medicine along with her passion for helping her patients feel beautiful from the outside, in. Jessica is also passionate about keeping up with the newest products, techniques, and technology to always provide her patients with the best care to enhance their natural beauty.

Phyllis has been a Licensed massage therapist for 16 years and recently went back to school to become a facial specialist. Her passion is massage, and she enjoys doing all forms of massage, but her favorites are deep tissue and bamboo.
Shandra has a passion for healing and has 15 years of experience working with individuals in different capacities. Her experience as a labor and birth doula led her to attend school at Florida School of Massage. She has been a licensed massage therapist for the past 6 years. Shandra uses a holistic approach and puts her client’s needs first. Whether you want an indulgent and relaxing massage, prenatal treatment, or relief from injury or trauma she can provide you with just the right touch. Shandra also is an Aveda International Institute trained and Florida licensed esthetician.

With a skin care passion that started in her early teenage years, Caroline can customize a treatment plan and educate you on how to achieve your skin care goals. Her experience in a dermatology office led her to continue her education and pursue her esthetician license at North Florida Cosmetology Institute. Caroline is professional, educated, and passionate about giving her clients the best services they deserve. With five years of experience in the skin care industry, she loves to continue her education in her free time. She always keeps up with the current skin care recommendations, equipment, and technology. Jennifer is a Personal Trainer, Licensed Massage Therapist/Sport and Functional Movement Specialist, and Longevity Wellness Professional and has been in the health and fitness industry for over ten years. Her aim for each of her clients is to help them reach their fitness and wellness goals with the knowledge, intuitiveness, and need to help others. Whether a person is suffering from overuse syndromes, injuries, or surgery, Jennifer is dedicated to empowering those to gain control over their health and wellbeing for her clients to return to a higher quality of life.
Heather has practiced as a Licensed Medical Aesthetician for over 24 years. She holds a vast knowledge of medical-grade skin care products and treatments and believes skin care plays a vital role in looking and feeling our best. As an Aesthetician, Heather is very passionate about furthering her education. In 2021 Heather was a student in the SkinCeuticals Master Aesthetician Program, where she became a SkinCeuticals Ambassador Aesthetician. She has attended numerous trainings, conferences, and seminars to improve her skills and enhance her knowledge to provide the highest quality results for her clients. After working in both Plastic Surgery and Dermatology, Heather loves her more personalized, specialized approach to skin care. She can seamlessly integrate modern techniques in this luxury space where facial aesthetics is prioritized alongside wellness and relaxation.
Hannah’s mission at Earth Remedies is to provide treatments that result in a bright, refreshed, and natural look. After training with the best aesthetic providers locally and around the country in the most current and minimally invasive techniques, she specializes in anti-aging by providing the highest quality cosmetic and aesthetic injectables. She will help you reach your aesthetic by integrating the comprehensive skin and body services available at Earth Remedies.
Hannah graduated from New York University as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Her roots in Florida run deep after growing up in Ocala, graduating from nursing school at South University in Tampa, and working with the most critical patients as a nurse in the ICU at Tampa General and TMH. Hannah left New York City to take her first job as an NP serving veterans in the Cardiac Surgical ICU at the VA in Denver, Colorado. Three kids later and the warmth of Florida and family has brought her back to Tallahassee. She is excited to start her next chapter providing aesthetic care at Earth Remedies.

Cari Dunn has over a decade of experience in the spa industry, beginning her career as a Licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician in 2008. Her first love was skin care, and then she also fell in love with massage! Cari is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Cupping, Reflexology, and Warm Stone massage techniques. Prior to joining Earth Remedies, Cari was the lead Spa Educator at the Aveda Institute Tallahassee for seven years. Cari is committed to providing a relaxing and luxurious spa experience to enhance her client’s wellbeing.
